My husband and I hate using disposable picks because of the environment. too bad, but I found dental floss without a plastic handle less practical, because I like to wipe off the residue with a handkerchief after cleaning each individual tooth, but without a toothpick that leaves 1 hand for it, that's almost impossible. I found it difficult to wipe food residue off of this thread when wrapped around both fingers.
