The description and picture for this listing led me to believe this blanket would be like a flannel sheet or cotton blanket. The description mentions "solitude" and "warmth" for patients taking bed baths. This blanket was an open weave, and most of the blanket looked like stitches or small eyelets. (Think thick cotton tulle.) It offers no privacy and feels bulky when wet. (The patient is better off lying under a regular cotton sheet, as the weave is much denser.) It may provide a little extra warmth if placed between two other blankets, but that defeats the purpose of a bath blanket in bed. I'll wash and dry it and see if that helps close up the weave a bit and soften it. I will update my review accordingly.
