The towel rail looks good with 3 towels hanging on it, but the bars are too close together so 3 towels won't fit on the stand. The ability to adjust the length to suit different rooms is a plus. If the rod is not fully extended, hanging 3 towels at a time will be pinched between rods 1 and 2 and 2 and 3 (due to tokel accumulation), while fully extending allows the towels to move more freely. Assembly was difficult for one person. We went with the screws and anchors mounting option instead of the wall tapes as we didn't find that sticking the rods without attachment would be strong enough to hold 3 large bath towels. The included screws and anchors are very small and don't seem capable of holding much weight, so we used the larger ones we had on hand. The block looks great on the wall and can easily support the weight of 3 large wet towels.
