I held an art exhibition in a room with exposed brick walls. My main problem was how to display hanging photos. The owner of the facility said she didn't think they would penetrate the cement mortar, but if they did I could use them. The actual test day was show day and they passed! I used a hammer and gave some hard hits to the joint area and they held up even the heaviest parts making my show a complete success. I should also point out that when you deleted them, you didn't even know they were there.
