Review on 💾 Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600MHz PC3 12800 Dual Channel Memory Kit 1.5V (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9) by Marcus Rash

Good it took 3 hours to find out that a flash drive is dead, lately a lot of BSODs like: IRQ_LESS_OR_EQUALMEMORY_MANAGEMENT, I didn't realize that the RAM could be faulty since I have the Corsair Dominator Have used DDR2 kit for almost 4 years and never failed, either you get them DOA as happened to me once or they just work and keep working, that's how Corsair works. At first I thought it was the CPU but narrowed it down with AIDA64 until it caused a BSOD when I hit memory load so I grabbed memTest and put it on a bootable USB drive and while running the test there was me a 448 error (at 1% test completion). So I just started plugging in and testing one flash drive at a time, one of which was badly damaged. So I've just ordered another set and will be returning the defective ones, see how things develop and update this review. To be open minded, I really like Corsair, they make high quality RAM modules, but the only thing I blame Corsair for is that they don't test their RAM very well. I only gave 1 star so they would notice and improve their quality control before making it available to customers. but overall the ram is gr8 and deserves 5 stars. UPDATE: I emailed the RMA department but received a late reply. I believe her email is not tracked. However before I got an answer I got tired of waiting and called them via skype on the toll free number they have as I am an international user their gr8 support no complaints I am willing to send my broken unit back . Meanwhile I tested a new set I recently ordered, both work gr8, no BSOD, no crashes, everything is stable now so I'm just waiting for a replacement. If you want to buy this RAM and are in doubt because other reviews say DOA and this one just get this RAM, Corsair offers a lifetime warranty (10 years) and at the price quoted it's a steal.
