I have several suitcases that have lost their zippers. Grabbing the head of the zipper and pulling it to close it or pushing it to open the zipper is real agony because sometimes those zipper teeth bite or something inside the suitcase hits your hand and barks with yours knuckles! I hate throwing away a suitcase just for this but when I contacted the luggage repair shop they wanted to charge for a replacement suitcase to have it fixed. Paracord Planet Zipper Pulls came to my rescue. Thought I'd try these as I didn't have any other great options. Normally the zipper will unzip, presumably because the head of the zipper where the pull tab attaches bends a bit and the pull tab slips out. The paracord zipper is thick enough not to slip out of the gap like the old missing zipper. And the ones I bought are PINK! You'll know it's your black bag when it comes out of your luggage with the pink zipper! Now I keep a few of these in a small plastic bag in the outside pocket of each of my suitcases, just in case, plus a metal zipper. disappears during my trip so I can just browse through it and fix the bag in no time. Pinch the paracord, thread its loop through the loop at the head of the zipper, tuck the pink end through the small paracord loop and pull. Done and tidy! You will be very glad you bought them.
