Good product, annoying setup

I decided to try and install this about 20 minutes before my appointment with the groomer. First mistake. I don't feel like a clueless person, but installing this thing wasn't very well dressed. Since there were no instructions, I had to go back to Amazon. They really should put a video in because the pics aren't very good in my opinion. The "loops" around the headrest were annoying more than anything because as soon as I hooked and hooked one side, I tightened it like the instructions said and then the other side fell off. An advice. Make sure you tighten them as tight as possible to avoid this! I say until you see the top of your headrest dent! When I finally tied them to the headrests I found I had nothing to hook the bottom hooks to (at least nothing I could see) so I got creative and untied the straps as much as I could and hooked she an. on the belt buckles of the driver's and front passenger's seat. Then I tightened them as much as possible. I took the puppies to the groomer before setting up the rod and all was fine but the view through the rear window was a bit difficult. On the other hand, he kept the dogs in the back seat. When I got home and had the pole installed, I could see out the rear window much better. Only time will tell how it holds up. I have a Beagle mix who can become a Hulk and a 50lb Bernese Mountain Dog/Husky if he wants something bad.
