Review on πŸ“ž Crosley CR55-BK Wall Phone: Push Button Convenience in Sleek Black Design by Todd Roberts

Look at the picture! That's it!

I have no idea why people give it bad reviews. If it hums, send it back for a replacement! I just redesigned my kitchen in retro pastel colors by choosing red "splashes" of red. Tired of my cordless phones, most of which don't work, I decided that the little time I spend on my landline definitely doesn't guarantee 8 cordless extensions. So I threw them all away for this wall phone. I say "old" with a shudder, having grown up with rotating wall phones like this one. Someone below complained that the phone was "tethered" to the handset. Ah. Do you understand the concept of a wall phone? This phone is as I remember it (except for the rotary switch which would be totally impractical). It's solid and the phone is a bit heavy compared to today's smartphones. So were these phones! It showcases my retro kitchen well. He gets countless unsolicited compliments. And everyone picks up the phone to listen. Pretty funny. Great phone. Excellent voice quality. Good ring (adjustable). Note that the handset cord is hardwired and therefore cannot be replaced with a longer one. This is clearly stated in the ad, but some people who complained obviously didn't notice.

Pros
  • Speaker volume control
Cons
  • Functionality
