Works well - compact radios and stereos

I really like this radio. The main thing is that it is well received. I read many reviews of other shower radios before deciding on this one and they all had one common problem: poor reception. It has better reception than my other radios. I wasn't thrilled with having to buy 4 D batteries to power this radio because I like using rechargeable batteries and you can't just buy D rechargeable batteries because they don't exist. was of no use. However, it's been 3 months now and there are no signs of battery life issues, so it's not that big of an issue. I also like how easy it is to use. The handles are big. The display is crisp. The buttons work fine. I'm only half awake at 6:30am, so a good, simple design like this is appreciated. No radio station search, but that's no big deal. I don't plan on changing channels 50 times while in the shower for 10 minutes and 5 presets. It actually comes into the TV sound and I think some weather channels but I haven't tried them because as I said 5 presets is enough for me. The CD changer is on the back, which may be inconvenient for some people. . I don't care because I don't use it. When I'm in the mood to play my own music, I use my iPod with an FM transmitter.
