I have six of these that I leave permanently connected to the batteries of my lawnmower, my 'real' Kubota. A compact tractor (50 hp), my Kubota RTV, my dump trailer, a John Deere diesel roller/roller and my Cessna. Most of them are "flooded" (regular lead-acid) batteries, but two of them are AGM and all will (so far) be fully charged for two years without recharging. You are infallible for this purpose. They have a low power output, so don't expect to quickly charge a heavily drained battery. Nevertheless, an empty battery is fully charged in 48 hours. However, their main purpose is to support short- or long-term storage.
