This paddle is light enough for kitchen battles and strong for ball races. With Max Gritt you can really move the ball! So good it must be borderline illegal! This paddle starts great! But Max Gritt has already strayed from the sweet spot. I've only had him for 2 weeks and have played with him 4 times. I left a comment on the Franklins FB page about an issue I was having and they responded straight away and sent me a new paddle! Excellent customer service! Kudos to Franklin on that one. The problem is that my spare paddle also loses "max grit". All in all I still love the paddle. Feels good in the hand, easy to manoeuvre. But don't expect "Max Grit" to last much longer than 2 weeks. (By the way, I mostly play indoors 2-3 times a week)
