The shorter paddle requires some changes from the previous paddle, but the grip, weight and surface texture provide excellent control.

This paddle is not for beginners. This is a higher level and met all my expectations. The $100 cost is worth it if you intend to be a serious gambler.

The paddle is really very good. Its benefit for me is how it helps with rotation. The longer handle helps me hit low shots. Definitely recommend this paddle.

I have used racquets from a number of traditional pickleball racquet suppliers. At first this seemed different. But after a month of use I can say that the combination of power, touch and ability to add spin is better than any other paddle I've tried.

I researched everything and spoke to many other players before making my decision. I'm happy with the paddle and so far it's holding up well. My personal opinion is to choose a paddle from a well-known brand and in the middle price range. You have tons of money to spend and all you will buy is hype.

The spatula was about two weeks old and cracked on top. I contacted Franklin directly to make a warranty claim and was told they don't stock the 13mm version. The?! The support rep told me they would ship a replacement mid-November so I'll see what happens in about a week.

Love this paddle except it had a dead zone at the top of one side. Now 6 months later most of that side is dead. He taps when the ball bounces off him. Great for slowing down the pace of an opponent's powerful punch. But even after marking the dead side and hitting my serve, it's a little frustrating - either a backhand or a right hand! rzunimag. This paddle is light enough for kitchen battles and strong for ball races. With Max Gritt you can really move the ball! So good it must be borderline illegal! This paddle starts great! But Max Gritt has already strayed from the sweet spot. I've only had him for 2 weeks and have played with him 4 times.
