Toyota dealer said $1600 to replace the clogged catalytic converter, my cost was that plus $50 muffler shop for fitment; At 400,333 miles my 2005 xB is running fine! I'll add an updated fuel economy report in a few days but for now I'm a happy driver. Fuel economy update: 7,000 miles later and I'm averaging about 30 city and up to 3538 on the highway, so I'm STILL a happy driver!
