tried with 4 devices so far. 2 of them worked perfectly. One of them is my Windows 10 desktop, I used it to communicate with colleagues in daily meetings. When I first connected it it didn't recognize the camera but I just disconnected and reconnected and then it worked, no compatibility issues found. The second device I used was my laptop, the reason I didn't want to use the built in camera was because of the resolution. This webcam has a higher resolution and sometimes I need to work with my laptop and I was surprised that my laptop allows me to choose which camera I want to use (built-in or external plug-in). The third was a tablet, the tablet had a built in camera but for some reason it stopped working, I couldn't return it. Connecting this USB webcam worked great with the online course software, no complaints so far. The fourth device was an old Macintosh (12 years old), my only Mac I have (I don't need a Mac as it's very old, I just want to test it). I admit this is old, but I'm not sure why this won't work. Every time I try to start a piece of software (like Skype) it always uses the built-in camera instead. Until I figured out how this webcam can work with Apple devices. But it looks like every Apple device has a built-in camera, so hopefully a Mac user won't need such plug-in cameras.
