In use for 2 months. I bought it for use on white painted cathedral ceilings. I attack cobwebs, cobwebs and things like that. The extreme end of the rag when tucked into the ceiling is a hard plastic that marks the white color. So I use a rag to not leave marks on the paint. I washed the product once. Part of the boot can be removed. I put it in the washing machine and dried it in the dryer. It turned out quite nice and still fluffy.Very good seller. The item was packaged well and shipped promptly. You can remove the cloth (it snaps) for washing. Also, the plastic part that holds the rag (from which it snaps off) is bolted to the frame. The rod slides out easily so I can use it on cathedral ceilings, which is what I bought it for. When fully extended it is about 5ft 1in long to the top of the lobe. I think the bar is aluminum and has three sections that can be extended twice. There are internal cams that hold it in the extended position. The largest piece is 1 inch in diameter. You can bend the lobe so that it is at a 90 degree angle to the bar. This is a very good product, much better than what I have used before. The head of a rag is made up of fibers similar to the head of a floor sweeper, but the fibers and groups of fibers are smaller. I think it washes and dries well. I will try to add to this after washing the rag for the first time.
