Very surprised at the quality of this Saw. I got this for my wife because she is constantly out side in the yard doing something with the landscape. I expected the saw to bend, no biggie, just straighten it out and keep going. The problem was the bend right at the joint, I kept using it the whole trip, but had to snap at the bend to close it for the trip out. Effective teeth for cutting.I wasn’t going to return it, I was trying to saw a log too big for the blade when it bent at the neck. They sent a complimentary replacement anyway.

I purchased this saw for an annual hunting trip I make each fall. It worked well for the first several seasons for small kindling type wood cutting. However this season I used it for a larger 2 inch green branch that needed to be cut. The saw buckled at the hinge point and the blade was subsequently severely bent. I was unable to straighten it back to its original shape. It’s too bad because I really liked using it up to this point.

The first cut I made was a 3 inch piece of fat wood stump I dug up out of the ground. Thats stuff is really good for fires and its thick with resin, so to be able to saw through that and create Myan dust easily! Im sold. Only regrets is I should of bought extra blades. Was surprised how well it worked. cuts limbs easily, easy to clean, blade is flexible. only down side is the long paracord that it came with. they are pointless in my opinion.

First thing I noticed was how incredibly light this is! I took it out and it performed great. The only issue I had was I applied too much pressure when sawing and the safety latch hopped up to the second groove. I put this down to my lack of practice/skill though and the once it locked forward it held the blade fast. It's a bit flexible (like most saws of this size) so my advice is use minimal pressure and be careful of bending the blade. It's perfect for hiking/tramping as it's VERY…

I really like this saw. Works perfect for what I need, and it's light weight. Only 2 things I feel could be better are the blade could be a bit stiffer but still works well, and I wish the blade would lock closed. Personal preference on both of those but still really like this saw.

I really like the comfortable rubber grip handle, great for snowmobiling with bulky, wet gloves. Blade folds into the handle nice and no sharp teeth are exposed to snag on anything, don't want those sharp teeth slicing up something you don't intend to. Lanyard is nice so you don't lose it while cutting wood in the deep snow out snowmobiling.

While cutting a small tree the saw got caught and the handle bent. Seems to have a very flimsy handle.Saw blade is good.Would not recommend for anything other then very small branches.

I suppose it's ok around the garden, but, not for hiking, camping, survival use. Not to be relied upon. I'v spent much time outdoors and I was hoping this was something to keep in my pack for clearing trails, firewood, etc, but, no such luck.

Update: the customer service contacted me regarding the issue and the send me another one for free. The saw is really good but as I said, it broke after few use and it could be due the size of the wood that I'm cutting with. Otherwise, I was really happy with it and I didn't imagine that it would be this efficient to have during camping trips.

Very nice for cleaning out a campsite! Easy to use and versatile for many cutting uses with wood or brush. That's my review.

This is a great camp saw, was able to cut through plenty of fire wood without fear it was going to fall apart. The construction is very solid (no plastic) and a solid rubber handle that allows for great grip. Highly recommended

I took this saw up to the BWCA, and was very pleased with its strength, durability, and effectiveness while camping. The saw is lightweight, compact, and I have been using it in my yard for light tree trimming too.

Took this little saw out for a couple days camping and used this to process some dead branches for firewood. About wore me out.but only because it cut so well that I couldn't stop.
