I originally had a thinner lid and it wasn't as strong/protective. This. However, it is very bulky. The edges of the cover overlap the screen and make it difficult to click certain arrows, buttons, etc. that are on the edges of the page. It can also use less tilt when typing - sometimes I type on my lap and it makes it difficult to work when the iPad is upright, but I don't want it to be completely flat. Too much detail makes it unwieldy. It will do for now.
