**Buy washers between the meshes and holes in this plastic flap!** This was a great replacement for the original Larson branded storm door with integrated door I Bought from Lowe 3 years ago. However, the screws that were on the door originally went into holes in the plastic. And the original often sagged on one side, causing it to not latch and close properly. When I replaced the original with this valve I went out and bought washers to go between the bolts and the plastic. I also made sure the ALL plastic flap slipped over the top edge and was held in place by tightening the screws and washers one at a time. I had to go back and when I was done it was back in several places. I also check and retighten the screws every two weeks or so if I notice they aren't closing perfectly. The original should have come with washers anyway. It's just damn bad engineering that can be attributed to the original manufacturer of the dog door. This valve is ideal for high performance applications! I will keep this item on my lists to back order if needed!
