OK it sits there and whatever you do come back with a very clean cloth I have old t- Shirts used and wiping them really makes a difference how the antiques looked before and how they look after use, but you have to wipe it off because if you don't it will be sticky, please use gloves. The second time I didn't do it and I had a hangnail and got a bit infected. I have nothing bad to say about this product! Another note: I take what I used to clean my furniture and keep it in a reusable bag! I also keep clean and cleaning rags in a separate bag! And it will be obvious to you when to buy new clothes! And use them a couple of times About once a month maybe twice a month, keep them in separate bags of course, I like the product
