This is the budget car you want

9/12/19 Update It's close enough to the 9 month mark so thought I'd update quickly. It still works and it's a really good bread maker. I use the soft breads cycle most often. Although I think I actually prefer the French bread cycle because the crumb actually comes out a bit softer than the soft cycle. Find out lol. Adding gluten to recipes also helps make the crumb softer and more elastic. And no, it won't be the same kind of loaves you get if you bake bread by hand. But for a car, it's a very good job. I still highly recommend it. Original Review I decided to review this product because it only had two reviews at the time of writing this review. I took the risk of buying it because of the price and the settings it offers. I've had a cheap Magic Chef from the early 2000s that still works but can't be customized, only holds 1.5lbs of bread, and I've never liked how each cycle overcooks the crust. This is a stainless steel device with a plastic case on the lid. It looks very nice. The display lights up blue when the buttons are pressed. It turns off quickly, but when you press the menu button, the menu lights up again. The display shows the time for each cycle as well as each phase of the baking process it is in. It is strong enough not to walk around while kneading the dough. How it works, time will tell if the machine is durable. So far it makes better bread than my Magic Chef. I am very happy that I bought it. It's a lot cheaper than similar machines sold at Revain and works great. If I try the cycles I will update this review. Regarding photos, the white bread is a quick bread cycle with all-purpose flour. The brown bread is a multigrain cycle (recipe below). The manual lacks information and clear instructions. Below is an explanation of each cycle. soft bread. This is your main cycle for making white bread. This is the one you will use for most recipes that call for white bread flour. Sweet Bread This is for bread that is high in sugar or fat and will burn if baked at a higher temperature. European bread cycle, so this can probably be used for all European breads. Full grain. This is for breads that are high in whole grains. Quick Bread A misleading name. This is actually a quick/express bake cycle. Countdown settings and times: Stir 1:3, Stir 2: , Ferment 3:1:18, Bake: 50, Keep Warm: 30. Makes a decent semi-quick bread. I really recommend activating the yeast for this cycle first. Simply mix the sugar and water according to the recipe, pour into the pot, add the yeast and stir again. Leave on for 10 minutes. Yeast should swell and increase in volume. Add the remaining ingredients, adding the salt last and start the cycle. Sugar Free This is for breads that contain sweeteners such as sucralose, xylitol, stevia, etc. A multigrain bread made from several types of whole grains. This can be real flour like rye or grain, which is usually eaten in the form of hot cereals (oats, quinoa, etc.). This recipe makes a delicious multigrain bread. Goes well with butter, peanut butter and jelly, sandwich meats, etc. or 10 cereals 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon vital wheat gluten 1 1/2 teaspoons salt If using instant yeast, add wet ingredients, dry ingredients, and yeast last. If using regular yeast, measure out the water, add honey, then yeast. While it is simmering, measure out all the other ingredients. Pour the water mixture into a saucepan, then the oil and dry ingredients. Choose 2 pounds of light crust multigrain bread. Gluten-free For bread made from gluten-free mixes that contain ingredients such as corn and potatoes and are gluten-free. Buttermilk Bread For bread containing buttermilk. 23 minutes. The pizza dough goes through the whole process in 1 hour and 25 minutes because it doesn't rise again once removed. dough for pasta. The default value is a 23 minute agitation cycle. The "Kneading" button on the machine interface takes you directly to this menu setting. The time can be increased or decreased in 1 minute increments. Sourdough This is puzzling. Bread and pizza dough is a yeast dough, so why another? The manual says 1 hour 24 minutes. I don't understand the meaning of another separately named parameter that does the same thing as pizza dough. CakeCake is for wheat dough that contains baking soda and/or baking soda. It can be an actual cake or a quick bread like a banana. Jam I tried the jam cycle using strawberry puree, sugar, lemon juice and pectin. It came out more like syrup but this was my first time and I probably didn't use enough pectin. He cooked strawberries and tastes fantastic. I strongly recommend trying it. Yogurt For baking yogurt The instructions say this is for the finished dough. The steps are from 10 minutes to 1 hour and 10 minutes. user mode. This allows you to set the default time for each step. Programming steps: stir 1, rest, stir 2, ferment 1, 2 and 3, bake, keep warm, reserve. I tweaked the quick bread cycle slightly to reduce bake time, stir 1:3, rest 0, stir 2:10, ferment 3:22, bake 40. The recipes in the guide are probably not worth trying. A pizza dough recipe calls for sugar, just like a bread dough recipe. There is no sugar in real pizza dough. If they can't even get the pizza dough recipe right, I don't trust any of them. Recipes are also given in grams, so without food weights it is better not to consider them.
