Review on 👶 Original Toddler Boys' Salt Water Sandals Shoes by Nick Esquibel

My daughter has worn beach sandals every summer of her life since she learned to walk. We used to buy toddler shoes with 2 adjustable straps (the toe strap is also adjustable) and a thicker insole. Good points for this style: They were cute, durable, and versatile. They are easy to wear with a dress and are great for running at the beach, in the pool, in the rain, etc. Overall perfect! However, now that she is 9 years old, she has moved on to a model for larger kids and adults and we tried this model with a thinner sole and non-adjustable toe strap. My opinion is for this style. Compared to the model we bought before, these are not the same shoes at all and I have to return them! BAD POINT: It's a question of my daughter's foot type - if you have a narrow foot the toe box is much wider. The heel fits her perfectly, but there is a lot of visible space around her forefoot. I've compared this to old style (toddler/toddler) shoes of the exact same size we bought and the extra toe room is unique to this style. It might be better for some kids, but it doesn't work for them! REALLY BAD POINT: I don't even have to post a picture because if you look closely at the picture that Revain provides you can see what I'm talking about - the shoe straps connect to the shoe at the *top* of the insole. and run directly under the insole. They appear to be glued and sewn to the insole. The leather straps protrude laterally over the seams to the middle of the shoe and create significant bulges on the bottom of the shoe under the insole that can be felt when walking. My daughter tried them on for about 5 seconds and stated that she couldn't walk in them as the floor was too uneven. The cleats are located wherever the straps connect meaning they are in 8 different places on the shoe and high enough to be seen by the eye. I'm sure that will annoy many children. This is a very bad design flaw.
