There is nothing wrong with this lens. I have previously purchased a Panasonic 42.5 lens, this is the smaller brother lens based on reviews of similarities between lenses. While this is true 99% of the time, two important elements for me when shooting, especially outdoors where I shoot a lot, are the manual dials and the on-lens switches. For an extra $600 it might seem clueless, but when you hold your camera in manual mode and need to change the aperture in a split second without going into the quick menu. The custom buttons to do this never help me because I never use the LCD screen. on this camera when shooting. It helped a lot and I don't miss any frames or moments with models or objects.
