Works the same as OEM remote start. When the engine is started, the daytime running lights come on and the vehicle stays on for 15 minutes. Installation is easy if you can't follow simple instructions. A Windows computer is required for the provided dcryptor. * To start the car, press the lock button 3 times with a short pause between each time. Otherwise the module will not recognize it and the car will not start. Overall, I'm very happy with the remote start without an additional key fob! In case anyone is interested, I installed it on a 2020 Chevy Colorado. It says it fits GM 15-21 models.
