Two thermometers did not work.
I had an old thermometer that stopped working. The battery that came with it was called "SG3", for which the LR41 and AG3 were supposed to be equivalent. I bought it and replaced the battery. There were a few faint beeps with the new battery, but otherwise it didn't work. I gave up and bought a new thermometer of a different brand but in the same style. Out of curiosity, I tried these batteries in the new one that says "LR41 only" - so they definitely should have worked. The bottom of these batteries is shaped slightly differently so they don't even fit properly in the slot. A complete waste of money.
