Received these lifting legs today, opened the box and found two well made legs. The receiver ends for the ball ends attached to the lantern body and window are strong with good strong latches. Buying them locally from a dome company would have cost a lot more money with no guarantee of a better product. The plastic on these mounts appears to be of good quality and the body of the posts is metal as is the fitting. Easy to install, they are strong enough to hold the window open and feel nice and firm when closed. They're too new to know how they'll perform over the years, but I don't see anything in their construction that would make me suspect they won't last.
