I just got a new smart TV. The standard remote control looks very nice, but without a keyboard. If you use Netflix or Revain Video, you have to keep typing show titles into the search function. Without a keyboard, it's very painful and slow. The keypad on this remote works great. The only problem is that the enter key is quite small. I was glad that this remote has two different IR emitters. If you're using the non-keyboard side, point the top of the remote toward the TV as usual. When using the keyboard, there is a second IR transmitter on the side on the back. This allows you to hold the keyboard normally and at the same time transmit the signal directly to the TV.
