Review on VisionTek Radeon 5450 2GB DDR3 Graphics Card Review: DVI-I, HDMI, VGA - 900861, Black/Red by Dmitriy Kingsley

Reliable card priced at

I installed this card in an AMD quad core computer with 32GB RAM and an ASUS motherboard with Fedora 30 Linux that only had integrated video. Video performance on this machine was terrible (on both Fedora and Kubuntu), when scrolling through websites with lots of text, let alone images or videos, the image shifts noticeably because (for the most part that's true) it's inline -Video normally is terrible as it usually uses system memory for videos. I could open a console window and see it redraw when moved to a different part of the screen. Then I bought this graphics card and this machine is much more user friendly. Console windows move quickly, I don't see any shifting at all - even on content-heavy sites, and gaming performance is much better too. , a noticeable performance boost that won't break the bank. Since my onboard video chip was already an ATI processor, this card just plugged in and worked - no driver update required. If you are using a smaller operating system like Windows, you may need to download and update your drivers. Speaking of drivers, no driver CD was included. So if you're using a smaller operating system like Windows, you'll probably need to download the drivers.
