This product is made of 316L STAINLESS STEEL. It contains nickel and other metals. So if you are allergic, look for this alloy before you buy. My ears started itching very badly and it took a few days for it to stop. Avoid if you have a reaction to metals, especially stretching. I ordered a second set and was wearing a 4g pair when the second set arrived. They are great for being careful with ears stretched. You look great. I wish they were surgical steel or an implant but they are not. 🙁 The seller was very nice and helpful and said he would look at the metals used. Both orders arrived very quickly!
