I love these laceless loafers for shopping, doing housework, biking, walking, gardening etc. Despite the sporty look on the sides, the more traditional look makes them suitable for wearing with jeans and other casual wear. I love how they feel on my feet. They massage the soles a bit, and after wearing them to a marathon spring cleaning my feet felt energized, not sore and tired. along with support pads. The light blue dots on the heel and toe are an integral part of the footbed and slot through holes in the outer shell to hold things together. It's quite a brilliant design. The only issue I can foresee with this design is that there is little to hold them together once the light blue pads wear out. However, I think it will last for years with normal wear and tear on concrete or pavement. The laces are well made and tighten when needed, but they were very comfortable for me right out of the box. FIT & LIABILITY: I wear a size 10.5-11 and since no half sizes were offered, I chose the 11. They're a little loose when worn barefoot straight out of the box, but with a pair of extra thin foam insoles (or a pair of athletic socks) they're perfect. Just enough room at the toe and absolutely no "pinch points" at the tips of the toes, sides or heel. The heel doesn't arch and I haven't felt any chafing or discomfort in my Achilles tendon. They feel springy and soft in the heel and toe area, have a very secure grip when walking and are still very quiet on my parquet and laminate floors. The cross rib design on the top of the insole offers good flexibility and also provides a light massage experience. feel. No, these aren't "massage shoes" but they certainly feel great. The arches are surprisingly supportive, and the protruding arch of the cushioned midsole blends beautifully with the molded outer contour for balance and support. I also like their breathability. . When I used them for a three hour workout during spring cleaning, my feet stayed much drier than in my regular leather moccasins. lightweight appearance (and actual weight). They are easy to wear but also very comfortable and secure. Overall, I love the feel, build quality, lack of plastic smell and the fact that they're made from cruelty-free "vegan" elements. They are not standard but when I put them on they seem MADE for my feet. Blue dots offer ample cushioning, while a denser midfoot provides ample support. They're also "waterproof" so I don't have to worry about ruining them when it comes time to wash my car, water the lawn, etc. Finally, they're great for driving, too. The "bulges" in the heel provide extra comfort and little effort on my gas/brake pedals. Obviously, a lot of attention has been paid to their design and comfort. Yes, these are the real winners of my wardrobe and I'm glad I took the risk.
