Make it easy - it's very easy to replace the screen
I bought this when my son's screen broke (all by itself, he says). He's since switched to a Windows laptop and I've decided to get my Chromebook repaired. Following the online instructions made it extremely easy to remove and reinstall the screen. It literally took me 3 minutes to reinstall. I pressed the ON key and Alt --- my Chromebook came back to life. My advice is to research very carefully which replacement screen you should buy. First remove the damaged screen, look at the markings on the back and match them with the screen you bought. For me I matched the N116GE-EA2 ID.
