With the comfortable heaviness of this durable tamper, it's way better than a freebie with my espresso machine. The smaller spoon prevents spills on precious French roasts and stores neatly and easily. Although I thought it was a little pricey it is so worth the price for this quality shovel that I should have bought it a year ago. If you need a few extra bucks to get free shipping, this is a hidden gem.
