Review on GS Power 14 AWG: The True American Wire Gauge Solution by Jacob Rasmussen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Tiny stands but working

I used a wire to fit a relay to allow the extra power connections in my car to work with the ignition and because of some wires it made sense to use crimp connectors and some as well Soldering. The crimp was fine and there was no problem with solder inclusions when using a good soldering iron as others have said, although as it is aluminum clad I could see why this could be an issue. The coasters are very thin and easy to cut. and break. I'm usually pretty good at avoiding this, but with this wire it was hard to avoid, especially when soldering the middle lead of a wire (wanted more than one branch connector for this connection). On the other hand, I'm sure the thin strands of copper clad aluminum made it fairly flexible, making it easy to thread it through the spots I wanted to run the wire through.

Pros
  • Car radio
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
