I've been abusing regular reading glasses for 20 years and these are the best I've found. I had this first pair for 10 months. I often put them on and take them off by stuffing them in my shirt pocket. The lenses don't seem to scratch easily. The hinges are still strong and tight. The frames are super light. I like the soft finish. They stay down. I have been using FG for many years. I've had to replace them often because the lenses scratch easily and the hinges become loose and sloppy. They are heavy and therefore fall out of my face when I lean forward.
