Review on 🏬 Black Two-Sided Rotating Tower Storage Cabinet by Prepac by Tony Suggs

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, but the design change improves the case.

As many reviews say, the quality of the goods corresponds to the price, but for 62€ everything is fine. The directions aren't very good and it took me a while to figure out which pieces were up, down, and down. Before you start assembling, match the parts to the instructions. The platter is plastic and works well, but the special 'screw' that attaches the bottom to the base of the case is of poor and horrible design. When I assembled mine, I couldn't make a solid connection: the two pieces were "wobbly". When I tightened the screw to get a tighter fit broke them! It was actually good because a trip to the hardware store gave me the solution you might need at some point. I bought a 1 1/2" 3/8" carriage bolt and flanged connector. I used a hacksaw to cut a groove in the top of the carriage bolt so I could tighten it with a screwdriver. I opened up a hole in the bottom with a file to allow the flange connector to go down. After placing the turntable between the floor and base, I connected them with a carriage bolt coming out of the base. I had to cut out a small section of the long center baffle of the cabinet to make room for the top of the flange, but now I can adjust the bolt tension, to control how tight or loose it is. This gives me a very strong connection, but the body is still spinning. In fact, IMHO, it's way better than what was included. You might want to do this when assembling yours for the first time.
