This is a great way to immobilize two fingers and prevent them from being injured again. It can be adjusted to the natural curve of your hand, making it very comfortable to wear for both daily activities and sleep. The only problem I have is the quality. For $35 I expected it to last over two weeks and am about to return my second one. In the first case, the aluminum plate broke through the material at the top of the strut. That's when I noticed that there aren't any seams that hug the fabric snugly to the aluminum, just seem to be pressed together, maybe with a light glue between the layers of fabric. The second also lasted two weeks, and although the fabric around the plate remained intact, the Velcro that wrapped around the ankles no longer held properly. I have not done anything to the braces that would be considered cruel or unusual punishment, they simply could not withstand normal everyday use. I'll try a third one as none of the returned ones had the same bug but I'm losing hope. Apart from the quality, the orthosis works very well!
