I was looking for a cheap monitor for my home setup that I could connect my work laptop to while working from home. Based on the reviews I bought it and the price seemed reasonable. I've definitely seen better monitors. But this one does the job. Flickers sometimes. And the height cannot be adjusted. Update: The monitor has a vertical stripe from top to bottom which I think has to do with dead pixels. As Acer is still not covered by the 3 year warranty they have asked me to send the monitor in so they can try to fix it or give me a similar replacement. Just wondering if shipping is worth it. I was hoping that the monitor would last at least 5 years, but unfortunately it didn't last. Well, apart from an occasional flicker, it has worked so far, much like the degaussing option in old CRT monitors.
