We started making our tortillas at home to avoid the flammable industrial seed/vegetable oils used in most store-bought processed flour tortillas. You can bake slightly larger cakes with this 10 inch press. The press works great! The hinges are strong and the cast iron is heavy and presses well. For best results, I press, open, twist, and squeeze the tortilla a few times to get the desired thickness. My family is eating a little healthier now, and we're able to make a batch of tortillas in a relatively short amount of time. Recommended.
