I was looking for a suitable brush for cleaning ceiling fans. I had such a hard time climbing stairs because my ceiling fans are bigger than usual and I'm in my 60's and don't want to climb. I have two with a cathedral ceiling. I also bought an extension. With the rod and this brush, cleaning the fans has become easier and I can clean them more often. When you're done I just rinse the brush and it's ready for next time. I also have a round brush for the ceiling and trim. Especially the corners of the cathedral ceiling. Two fans are on a six-foot pole and the light in my dining room hangs on a long chain. A round brush attached to the extension makes cleaning the bar and chain easier. The best buy!
