Review on 6ft CableCreation Active DP to HDMI Cable (DP1.2) - 4K x 2K & 3D Audio/Video, Eyefinity Multi-Screen Support, 1.8M, White by Kai Steinbach
Worked fine for the first three months but then both randomly failed
I used two of these cables with my desktop to connect an additional monitor and an Elgato HD60 Pro, both of which require HDMI for connection. The picture quality and ease of use were amazing during operation, but just a few days ago both cables stopped working. I'm not sure if this could be an active cable issue or if it's just a quality control issue. I know for sure that this is not a hardware issue because as soon as I tried reconnecting all my devices, both the monitors and the capture card worked. Therefore, I do not recommend this product: its reliability is very questionable, despite other amazing reviews about this product.
