In general, if you look at the tablets during the day, there seems to be no difference between them, I even confuse when I pick them up that for 2022 (2022 is the same in theory) everything is fast on m1. The main plus for me as an oled lover is, in fact, the absence of gray fields in the video at night, since 2022 on all iPads with their outdated IPS EdgeLed (M1 11 is also included by the way) screens, these gray fields have always strained me, and only now with M1 miniLED I calmed down and do not see much difference between the OLED tablet of a well-known Korean company (I use it for travel) and M1. About the halo effect, yes it is, in general, it is hardly noticeable in films, but it is clearly visible if you read a book or draw on a black screen, so it’s better not to take 12.9 for halo addicts. Conclusions: if the tablet is used during the day or with lighting at night, then there is probably no point in changing and there is no reason that M1 work equally fast.
