I do not recommend this product. This apple shaped silver timer looks charming and elegant. But after less than a year of use, the numbers began to wear out, making the timer very difficult to use. I use another timer, Geekera Visual Timer for Kids, for the same amount of time as this one. The Geekera timer is made of plastic and looks pretty cheap and childish compared to this sleek stainless steel kitchen timer, but after about a year of use the Geekera has no functional issues and looks exactly as I received it. What a surprise - I expected the sleek stainless steel timer to last longer than its plastic counterpart. Appearances are deceptive!
