GREAT quiet ceiling fan. It has superior build quality compared to other brands like Westinghouse Comet (the current fan recommended by The Wirecutter). I know because I bought this other fan first and had trouble installing the fan due to poor build quality. In the end I got Westinghouse back. I am very satisfied with the build quality, the smooth running, the relatively simple operation and a very good wall switch. The only thing that surprised me is the fact that this kit assumes you have screws and washers to mount the unit to the ceiling box. All other devices are included.
