The ends of the cord are marked so you can remember the size/length without having to measure it. It goes perfectly with others in my Chiaogoo spare needle case! It is important to use a wrench to tighten, otherwise the cables may become loose during use. I use this for two socks at a time and have worked both the cuff and sock down; there is enough space on the cable for both methods!
