Don't let the name fool you, this light is not suitable for corals. For the price it's ok. It honestly has a great little sunrise and sunset timer system and that's the best thing about this light. Otherwise, it is quite comparable to other fake LED lights for freshwater aquariums. It's very well built, I like it. It's just not for a reef aquarium. You need lights with a lot more blue LEDs and UV rays for your corals to thrive.
