This kit was like, not love. I'm used to Aquafresh Extreme Clean toothpaste. I've been using them for years. My husband loves it because the heavy foam and strong mint flavor makes him feel like he's really getting clean. I've been trying for years to find an alternative because of the SLS in aquafresh, but every time I try something new my husband tells me my breath smells later in the day. I had no issues with it and bad breath, but didn't feel like it really cleared my mouth. While using toothpaste, the backs of my front teeth were always rough, like they just hadn't been brushed. This toothpaste is quite runny. If you're one of those people who doesn't like how your toothpaste cap gets sticky, stay away, it gets a little sticky and leaves toothpaste streaks on the cap. I would recommend rinsing the brush first rather than spilling water on this toothpaste. The taste is mild, reminiscent of mint with a small amount of cloves. Mouthwash is the opposite and tastes like cloves with a bit of mint. The bamboo toothbrush was a cool idea but uncomfortable. The wood is not smooth like plastic so it rubs a little and is very thick making my mouth uncomfortable. It is difficult to get at the molars just because they are bulky. The set made my teeth feel sensitive. Pros: It's natural Mild taste Keeps breath fresh Large amount Cons: Didn't leave a clean feeling Thin, dirty toothpaste Uncomfortable toothbrush Part of me thinks it must have worked because my breath didn't smell, but I can't handle it feels like a gross residue on the back of my teeth so I probably won't be using this again. I'm used to a medium bristle electric toothbrush so I tried this toothbrush instead. It got better but still left that sediment on the back of the front teeth.
