Photo #2 shows the Schrader valve that was taken from my Toyota pickup when I replaced the compressor, condenser and dryer. New valve #1 installed. My 134A quick connect gauge fits perfectly. Vacuum pulled, loaded and confirmed the expected cooling of the vents. When I removed the quick coupler from the underside, I lost coolant and some oil. I removed the new Schrader valve and noticed that the stem has no "spring" reset. I'm not sure if it ever was, but inside it doesn't look like the original at all. I checked the stem on my old valve to make sure it was tight, installed it and repeated the vacuum, primed, plus a couple ounces of oil and all is good. I wish I could find out what happened, but I will not and never will use another Schrader valve that looks like this on the 134A. Threw it in the trash. That doesn't mean the seller won't return the money, but I don't waste time returning it. Check out the picture and let me know what I missed when ordering.
