Review on πŸ”“ Accepted Combination Lock 4696T by Lisa Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Deceptively unreliable. You are only as strong as your weakest points.

You are only as strong as your weakest Period, and while it looks tough, it's very weak. Attachment points and easy to bend. When setting the combination on the lock, the numbers will auto-rotate very easily when you turn the shackle back, and you run the risk of setting a number you didn't plan to use. Therefore, you must hold down all four numbers while spinning the spine. After pulling the lock a couple of times, the entire shackle popped open, revealing four very small metal protrusions where the cylinder numbers are 'locked'. The temple looks quite thick, but only the open end is covered by a small metal collar and not fixed there. With a little hand force, the shackle flexes slightly with the smaller diameter of the metal hidden inside, and these four metal protrusions are easily overcome in normal use. Deceptively unreliable.
