I have a couple of exacto knife handles
And this kit contains the best handle I've ever had. It's sturdy, but comfortable to hold in the hand when cutting paper or other material (for me, it's mostly vinyl for my Silhouette machine) and I am really impressed with the set of knife blades for using on different projects. The only thing I wish this kit had was a cover for the knife handle. My most current exacto knife handle that I have used had a cap so that when I wasn't actively using it, I could make it safe so if it moved or rolled, it was not as dangerous. Other than that, I'm very pleased with this kit.
- A good starter kit has nice usable and gripped handles good for a tasking project!
- The knives in this set require frequent sharpening and maintenance, adding an extra expense and inconvenience for users
