Almost indestructible

I am very happy with these glasses. Here are the criteria I was looking for: * easy to clean; smooth surfaces* glass, no plastic* durable* family-friendly* sustainable; not easy to knock over * handy You don't think these things are going to be hard to find, but then you would be wrong. Type glassware (or similar terms) into the search bar and it keeps bringing up two types of glasses: plastic children's glasses and bar glasses, broken down into "rocks" and, uh, whatever drinkers' tall glasses and be called bartenders. I just wanted to put clear glasses on the dining table. milk, juice, water, cola. glasses made of glass. They have a larger girth than most and if they were a little bigger I wouldn't like them. See my photo; My arm is about average for a 5'3" woman. As I have arthritis I don't like having to wrap my hand tightly around the glass. The shape makes it very stable. I've tried too many things with my glass and dropped it.It was a relatively hard fall as I was standing on a wooden floor rather than carpet.broken glass but all I heard was a crack followed by a muffled thump as it rolled a bit down the hallway. Wonderful! I picked it up, sure I would find at least a crack or chip in the top rim, but no. .Nothing. This glass is completely unscathed from the abuse of a clumsy user. I'm overwhelmed with impressions. I'm impressed. Filled with gratitude, I placed a glass (with Coke in it so you can see which it is) with the other three items in my closet. Another leak has occurred. I don't see that this glass does it.One shortcoming: a japan n family member has very small hands. If this is you, this is not the best choice.
