Review on INNOCN 26 Inch Ultrawide Screen Monitor: High Definition, Adaptive Sync, Split Screen, Height Adjustment, HDMI Compatibility by Changmin Swoboda

Bright, crisp, clear display for gaming or surfing the web

This is the first ultra widescreen monitor I've tried and so far I'm loving it. Brightness and contrast are excellent. The display quality is exceptional. Sitting about 4 feet from the screen, images, icons, text, etc. are crystal clear. The manual lists a 0.2349 pixel pitch, which is consistent with some of the best Dell UltraSharp monitors. The menu system offers numerous settings for things like dynamic contrast and brightness, which adapts to the amount of light in the room, gamma, color temperature profiles, etc. (various types) always in the center of the screen. You can define a menu hotkey for switching in the settings. I'm currently using it over an HDMI connection, so wide desktop mode only. By connecting a second video input via DisplayPort or a USB-C connection, the Picture-in-Picture feature (if enabled in the menu settings) can create two seamless images side-by-side on the screen as if they were two separate monitors. This allows clicking and maximizing windows on these two "virtual" displays. Since the monitor treats them as separate inputs, you could technically connect something like a Roku device and watch TV on one side while using the Windows desktop on the other. However, with a square ratio and a pixel size only half the width of the entire screen, it really isn't very practical. There are other PIP (Picture in Picture) options such as: B. Setting the secondary display to small, medium or large and placing it in the upper right/upper left or lower right/lower left corner of the screen. It might be more handy for watching TV or running something like a ticker in a corner.
